Saturday evening, July 22, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund will host its annual benefit auction at the San Diego Convention Center. The Fund is offering a legendary selection of great original art, including pieces by Will Eisner, Frank Miller, Jack Davis, Jim Lee, Matt Wagner, Art Spiegelman, and many, many more. Beyond original art, we're also offering rare signed comics, graphic novels, signed scripts and other items. Check out this fantastic selection of one of a kind items, and let the bidding begin! This is the big one! Support the CBLDF's defense of Free Speech in comics at the 2006 Comic-Con Benefit Auction! Bid live at the San Diego Convention Center. If you can't make it to the show, sealed bids can be sent to the CBLDF until 5 PM, Pacific Time on Saturday July 22. Send bids to cbldf1(at)gmail.com. All bids must include the item title, bidder’s name, phone number, and a valid credit card number with expiration date. If sealed bidders win, they will be notified by phone before they are charged. All sealed bids will be deleted following the auction.
